Still recovering from the eight and a half hour drive yesterday. Also got a bad burn to my hand from spilling nuclear reactor-warmed coffee. This is very sad. I’ve always believed tighter restrictions on the sale of fireworks is needed. Organised public displays are much better, safer, can be properly planned and prewarned - and they reduce strain on blue light services. It’s not about being fun police - it’s just common sense.
