Formidine Rift Sightseeing Tour Waypoint 6: RS Persei. An enormous red supergiant with two landable bodies. The nearest being 5000ls away and yet it’s still possible to scoop fuel when approaching to land. and the approach is thrilling! And driving Artemicion on the higher g surface is really fun!

#EliteDangerous Formidine Rift sightseeing tour DETOUR #2: 2MASS J02332048-6132232 A massive blue/white O class dwarfed by its orbiting yellow F class supergiant. Even though the O class is smaller it’s still more massive than the much larger F class.

#EliteDangerous Formidine Rift sightseeing tour waypoint 3: Altera’s Eye (IC 1805 Sector DQ-Y e3) A solitary black hole encased in its own planetary nebula of hot indigo gas. The views from the system next door are particularly spectacular! Sir Fratley wanted us to stay, but I needed to move on.
