Today the kids have no school but the snow is basically gone from hard surfaces, so i: got my van inspected and renewed the plates, deposited a bunch of checks at the bank, dropped FOUR bags of stuff at the thrift store, dropped a kid off at the archery range and took the other kids to Target. 🥱

C and I went out to lunch today. Mistake because we went to a steakhouse near the office and it took forever bc it was mobbed. But awesome because the couple next to us got engaged!

Went to the Hurricanes game today. Tickets were M’s big birthday present. They won 7-3 and Max’s favorite player scored two goals and almost had a hat trick. Came home and made chicken noodle soup from literal scratch. Did yoga. A good day.

Gave the teenager NyQuil gelcaps for the first time tonight (we think he’s getting it too) and he saw them and said, “I’m supposed to take those with my *mouth*?” And I asked him where else he’d put them. The look on his face. (He got them down fine and came into my room to brag 😆)

Last week Chris lost an online auction for a stained glass lamp. I went online and found a completely different glass lamp and sent him the auction link to that one. He didn’t care for it, but I was thinking I might bid, but forgot until after the auction was over. 1/2
