Some say that we need to shift to the right, others say we need to shift to the left. But not enough people are looking at the actual issue: we are ignoring the working class of this nation. Right-wing extremism has always fed off working class people who feel ignored, so let’s stop ignoring them.

Democrats will win when we start recognizing that progressives can win over liberals, moderates, and even some conservatives. Republicans don’t have to hid behind a centrist facade to win, and we shouldn’t either. If Trump can own his extremism, Dems can stand behind their platform.
