Still no power at home so I went downtown to the office to work. At 7am on the dot, the Irish pub down the street had a bagpiper start playing NONSTOP out on the sidewalk. Never mind that there are businesses trying to operate and a senior apartment building right across the street.

No sign of power returning anytime soon. Fortunately my parents were not affected so refrigerated stuff got taken over there. Unfortunately, my bf's parents' porch blew off and three large trees were uprooted. I'm so tired, and it's getting cold outside (and inside). Time to rest.
