I haven’t been swimming in around 5 or more years. Today was the first time in a long time. Once, I was an athletic swimmer. I could do laps of the pool without issue. Today, I could barely handle 1 without losing my breath, and I can barely lift my arms. (1)

I’m making an effort to add quotes or philosophies that I have heard or used through my life into this little journal with personal notes, to describe how they have made me feel, how I interpret them, and how I apply them. I’ll try share some of these quotes here on the odd occasion.

Went to the cemetery to look for some family graves recently. And you know the bloke who was buried in a grave was probably a real character when the maggie’s and the cockatoos are hanging around and chatting on it.
