Hey @linkedin.com is there any way to turn off these notifications without also turning off notifications about actual interactions (likes and comments)? I DO NOT CARE ABOUT IMPRESSIONS.

Share a movie or TV character wearing a white tank top.

I know what the next #machinegames project SHOULD be. First-person, stealth infused, space spy-thriller. This is such an obvious slam-dunk. @bethesda.net @lucasfilm.bsky.social make this happen #starwars #andor

I thought the Canadian Spock money was hilarious... I'll never be able to unsee this now.

Socialism is what they called public power. Socialism is what they called social security.    Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.   Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. —Harry Truman, 1952

"You read books, eh?" A 1949 red scare Herblock cartoon about pressures on teachers that hits hard once again.

Rogan gets an audience of non-libs interested in many perspectives & not loyal to either party. Dems creating a “Liberal Joe Rogan” (LOL) would require liberals to tolerate/support media that doesn’t just worship Dems — and theres zero evidence liberals would ever support that.

Dems are a caricature at this point. Future generations will point to Nancy Pelosi installing a literal corpse on House Oversight over AOC as one of many many many failures that led to Trumpism and the end of American democracy. Surreal to be living through this period in American history.

I had no idea this book existed until today, but it's exactly my niche. Reading now.

Starting to think that bombarding people with content designed to make them ill-informed, angry, and antisocial for hours upon hours a day has been a real disaster for society and possibly not one we can come back from in our lifetimes

Made a version of this meme I wanted to see.

social media was a mistake. we all need to go back to myspace.

You're probably gonna find out about it anyway. So, here's a little preemptive truth telling. There's no happy ending. open.spotify.com/track/6USIjn...

"Everything happens for a reason" is one of the first incorrectly-said common things you should un-learn. Everything that happens has a CAUSE - as in, it follows from something else that happened. "REASON" implies that something has meaning, or happened by/for intent. Most things have NO reason.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

So let me get this straight: masks are bad and un-American if worn to fight a pandemic, but good if worn by people claiming to be government agents when they kidnap people off the street

#Andor is the best thing #StarWars has made by a long shot. It’s not even close. youtube.com/watch?v=y7zj...

If SNL doesn’t bring back the Chicago Bears fans to do “Da Pope” we will all be very disappointed.

"They’ve gotten just about everything they want, and it’s not enough. It’s never enough. These people are never happy. They crave outrage. They demand purity. They’re apoplectic that the first American pope actually reads his Bible." charlotteclymer.substack.com/p/these-peop...
