They really should keep on messing with the judiciary in swing states. It might just decide the future of America and western civilisation. Does anyone think Wisconsin is voting GOP in 2028?

Intriguing that the administration has cancelled funding for all research into the concept of “misinformation” as it infringes on free speech, but wants Wikipedia to police and correct “misinformation” contributed by its editors. Misinformation is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

In London, obviously. Don't worry Lincolnshire, they won't want to live there any more than you want them to come.

This is incredible. Wait about 20 seconds into this clip. 🙃

Is the Pope a Catholic? Rare opportunity to try out a variety of answers to this question. The Guardian asked five leading set theorists for their opinion

I feel like we need to keep saying this because it’s so insane: This is a legal U.S. resident who has been detained for over a month now for his political opinions.

According to the Supreme Court, cis men can no longer pretend to be trans women in order to access women's toilets. Instead, they must now pretend to be trans men in order to access women's toilets. How the country's supposedly top judges could come up with this logic is unfathomable.

man, at least give us a spoiler alert

But to decide whether to be in Paris from June 2 to 7, I need to know who else will be in Paris from June 2 to 7

I’m curious what explains the significantly higher turnout in the last two elections (~65% comp to 50-60% in all previous). Is it strong feelings (pro or anti) about Trump? Seems more likely there are structural factors - such as removing lots of (mostly non-voting) people from the electoral rolls?

At least this sort of nonsense makes it harder to do the insider trading

Except for the zeroth amendment, which guarantees the right to rip off; the right to be ripped off; the right to exploit; the right to fail; to face the consequences not only of your own actions but anyone else’s; to be exposed to the raw storm blast of the chaos of life. Anything else is unAmerican

On the off chance, if you flew into Heathrow T5 from JFK early yesterday morning and picked up the wrong black Eastpak suitcase from carousel 10, my husband would really like it back. Yours is still at Heathrow! Please RT! We’d really like our stuff!

Marco Rubio says that Americans living in Europe shouldn't ever have to face any ramifications for their political speech online. The chutzpah is jaw-dropping, as he is PERSONALLY trying to deport legal immigrants for their political speech in the United States.

nimbies getting desperate now, buying up all the bricks

If this is where the line is to be drawn, I don’t imagine there would be much disagreement on the matter.

Interesting that the US government can get a prisoner released by Russia, an enemy state under sanctions - but not by El Salvador, an ally it meets in the Oval Office to announce a partnership “to promote democratic institutions and the rule of law”
