Is anyone interested in fare dodgers? It’s possible to catch a train in Hertfordshire and leave in London without having to pass any barriers. It’s one of those topics the RW use as a distraction from what’s going on in the world

What Jenrick showed when he ‘uncovered’ passengers not paying tube fare, is how the RW media works. They report it, gets picked up by talk shows like @mrjamesob.bsky.social who amplifies it. Jenrick used it to try and show lawlessness on tube (attack on Mayor) and on Turkish hairdressers.

What’s needed in UK is for @teamlabouruk.bsky.social govt to raise PM salary to say £500,000. Ministers to £300,000, MPs to £80k, ban all other jobs that benefit from being an MP
