#WheelofTime first #CownofSwords read though. (Spoiler) My favourite plot twist so far: Big, bad, terrifying boss-bitch Elaida knitting when she’s stressed out. I love that. I do actually feel sorry for poor old Mat in this one though - that Queen Tylin is a sex-pest and a half!

Can’t turn around in Doha without bumping into a bit of Simsima limestone. Rough blocks used for landscaping/ garden walls everywhere. Picked up a small bit from a vacant lot with a nice chert lens, and had a look with my crappy little pocket phone microscope. #urbangeology #Doha
