mars matrix would be contender for best shmup ever made if its presentation was any good 😭😭😭 the gameplay is best in class with a breakneck pace thats exhilarating to push through with a great weapon selection but the graphics are so ugly 😭 and the soundtrack is beyond forgettable

recent plays factoring into rating systems in rhythm games is always terrible. i do not see the benefit of adding recents to rating systems, you'll either have your rating juiced up more than it should from grinding farm charts or you'll be heavily discouraged by a lower rating after a bad session

arrival these are SO sick to own being my number 2 and number 3 favorite games on the saturn, bulk slash's cover art is amazing as well shame every single copy of bulk slash had its cover gloss finish melt which causes the manual to be bonded to the case LOL but its still really pretty art

devil blade reboot normal 1cc very easy 1cc, only took an hour or so. you can get through normal easily if you abuse the bomb-shield system however. this game rips on another level. visuals and soundtrack blew me away. 25 minute blast of adrenaline, highly recommended, i'm defo doing hard later
