Nothing quite illustrates the modern day complexity of food as me serving my youngest kefir in a glass that used to be a Nutella jar…

A complete page of ways I was absolutely not going to finish this search.

The Law Of Bluesky compels me to say that this otherwise nuanced and insightful piece is rendered useless and offensive by the reference to a rainy Friday. It’s been nothing but sunny in Scotland and therefore we have to disregard everything Ian has ever, or will ever say. I don’t make the rules.

I think I know a lot about music. I listen to a variety of genres and I keep up on contemporary styles and artists. Then I go on to Spotify and see artists I've never even heard of with multiple songs hitting billion+ downloads and I'm reminded that I know nothing.

What’s the right age for a man to start finding coins behind children’s ears? Asking for a friend.

Do not, under any circumstances, go to social media for life advice.

1 YEAR OF 20MPH There were around 100 fewer people killed / seriously injured on 20/30mph roads. Casualties from July-Sept was the lowest Q3 figures in Wales since records began. Over the year the number of casualties on 20/30mph roads is 28% lower than the year before. Good policy making.

We read too much into how people answer random questions. I probably have a favourite Beatles song but I’m damn sure I don’t have a favourite, e.g. One Direction song. FWIW I don’t have a favourite biscuit either.

In Germany, and in every other country in the fucking world (apart from the newsrooms of those countries’ papers of record).

My brother in law wrote this. If you go see it my niece and nephew don't have to go up chimneys this month.

Apropos of absolutely nothing, doing something which looks very much like a Nazi salute and then claiming it’s not is not a new thing. www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/1928690...

This is great 👏 On a jaunt to the shops, I stopped to take a few snaps of the South City Way cycle route extension as it wraps around Queen's Park and deeper into the southside of Glasgow (& closer to ever more people's doorsteps!)... 1/3 🚲

Not now unusually large spider.

Scientists in Australia say a group of “unusually large” funnel-web spiders is actually a new species in its own right. Researchers say they used anatomical and DNA comparisons to study different populations of the Sydney funnel-web spider – one of the world’s deadliest – and made a discovery.
