On Monday #Saanich Council (8-1) advanced the staff recommendations regarding the next draft of the Quadra-McKenzie Plan. As such we will not be reducing any McKenzie lanes and will look to working on bus lanes in the future in consultation with BC Transit. #yyjpoli #yyj 1/

After hearing from ~86 people (thank you all for the input) from 6-11:15pm Tuesday, we voted to postpone consideration of the revised report the on Quadra-McKenzie Plan in #Saanich until Feb 24 when we will answer all the public’s questions and then debate the matter. #Saanpoli 1/2

In order for President Trump to invoke the 25% tariff, he needs to first declare a national emergency so that he can act unilaterally via executive order as he plans to do IMO this stretches the credulity of what actually constitute a national emergency. #Canada #negotiate #yyj

Always delightful to participate in the PKOLS/Mt. Douglas Conservancy annual salmon toss in #Saanich. This returning of salmon carcasses (nutrients) helps recharge the ecosystem . Thanks to the volunteers and staff who make it happen! Great to see so many children today! #yyj
