I remember being introduced to Google by a friend in the late 90s whilst at uni. It was super fast and gave relevant results. Fast-forward to 2024, and Google Search is one of the examples given by Wikipedia's entry for 'Enshittification' 😥

Every once in a while I turn off my browsers' ad blocker 🚫, tracking protection 🛡️ and dns blacklist apps 📃 just to experience the current state of the Internet. Disappointment. Every single time! I honestly don't know how those who browse without those protections cope.

Microsoft Edge has been sitting (unused) on my Win11 system for over a year. I don't use the Edge browser but never felt the need to uninstall it for any reason. Yesterday, Windows update installed Copilot. Today Edge (and Copilot) have been uninstalled ✋!

Game over! Hands down THE highlighter I've encountered. Highlights ballpoint, fineliner, pencil and even some fountain pen ink without so much of a smudge. I only wish they came in pastel colours.
