it could explain why he seems to be so busy and why his exact work isnt really known. the timeline is fuzzy (both to us and characters in universe) which also raises questions if perhaps something happened to melinda or other desmond family members too

the fact that melindas first thought was that hes an alien leads me to think she could be mistaken abt him being telepatic BUT ALSO this is a world where we know such things happen and it seems like an odd subplot to build if not true..
