A strong country has the self-confidence to allow dissent. It isn’t bothered by criticism - it understands that being subject to criticism only makes you stronger in the end. Weak regimes can’t afford criticism.

No enforcement police or official should wear a mask in the united states of America. You get a warrant, you wear an official uniform and you act professional or if someone might be a threat of violence you don't put on a mask AFTER the subject is in custody. This is outrageous

Hegseth has made it clear that his Pentagon isn't interested in reducing civilian casualties. Here they're cheering blowing up a building full of civilians to hit one (1) enemy target visiting his girlfriend. Nobody appears to find this even questionable. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/04/u...

Targeting an individual for assassination at a building known to be his romantic partner’s residence by collapsing the whole structure seems to me to fall squarely within the Geneva Convention’s prohibition on targeting civilian objects, and probably other defined war crimes as well
