Our kid sometimes has strongly-held views that do not align with the views of his teacher. Today he came home with a comic he drew in marker on his pants depicting said teacher saying “tsk tsk” and calling her rude. Devastating stuff. We are keeping these pants forever.

I wonder if the fact that at any given time there’s no consensus on what tariffs are being applied to a given country will be an impediment to enforcing them. Maybe it’s just like a trailing 48hr average of things people in the cabinet say, I’ll have the AIs code that up for us.

So the plan is just to maximize groveling. He’ll exempt anyone who bends the knee which will basically be the megacaps who can get an audience to do so. Small businesses suffer, wealth gap blows out even more, economic dynamism declines, we all buy the same ticky tacky bullshit at big box stores.
