Post a picture of you, that's not actually a picture of you.

ASM #112: Rereading this I was surprised at how brief the actual "copping out" part of the story was lol! (released June 13, 1972; cover art by Romita) #SpiderMan

MJ always knows how to make an entrance! #SpiderMan

If you see this, post a Wonder Woman...

Marvel house ad for titles released in May 1984!

I swear that this house ad for Luke & Danny was in EVERY Marvel comic for like three years in the early 1980's!

This will be one of the few Crystar covers I post. Of course, it's the 80's so even the Crystal Warriors of Crystalliem had a reason to meet up with one of Claremont's X-Men! (released November 29, 1983; cover art by Michael Golden) #XMen

Splash page cliffhanger to end ASM #231! (released May 4, 1982; art by Romita Jr, Mooney & Sharen) #SpiderMan

Who remembers the unique concept for this ASM issue? (released August 2, 1983; cover art by Romita Jr. & Dan Green) #SpiderMan

Does any villain get more cool splash pages than Doc Ock? #SpiderMan

Did Frank Miller come up with the basic design for Venom 7 years before ASM #299? I did a major double take seeing this opening page as I was paging through ASM Annual #15 (1981). It looks a lot like the early Venom! #SpiderMan

Share a character who didn't deserve their fate.

Fantastic opening splash page by Romita! (ASM #67; released September 10, 1968)) #SpiderMan

Comic Connections: Before there was Rogue in the Savage Land, there was Bikini Gwen in the Savage Land...which was kind of big deal to a young lad in 1971.... #SpiderMan

ASM #139: Peter captured! The Jackal revealed as the Grizzly's puppet master! A powerful splash page cliffhanger! ...all ruined by, you guessed it, a Marvel Value Stamp...🤬 Wish I could go back in time & stop 10 year old me from picking up those scissors...... #SpiderMan

Unpopular opinion: Grizzly was Gerry Conway's worst idea during his iconic ASM run. (released September 10, 1974, cover art by Kane & Romita) #SpiderMan

Please tell me I'm not the only one who buys certain comics only for the cover and with the knowledge that the chances of me reading it are less than 1 percent???? 😳

What a spectacular way to re-introduce the Green Goblin in his first appearance since the original died in ASM #122: Ross Andru's double splash page in ASM #136! (released June 11, 1974) #SpiderMan

House ad for probably the comic book I read the most when I young. #SpiderMan

Cover connections: ASM #71 (1969) ASM #222 (1981) #SpiderMan

One scene from ASM #157 that strikes me as extremely quirky: After years of bitter battles...and years before Octavius would literally murder Peter and steal his body...the two sat down to enjoy...a bucket of chicken.... 🤪

One of Len Wein's best multi-issue stories: the 3-part saga that brought both Doc Ock and Hammerhead back from the dead. Plus the first ever Spidey-Ock team-up #SpiderMan

ASMs I recently bought to replace issues where I removed the Marvel Value Stamp when I was a kid. 🙄 #SpiderMan

Like it or not, he is Captain America.

No. gizmodo.com/marvel-comic...

Quiz time: ASM #132. Why is this issue noteworthy? #SpiderMan (released February 5, 1974; cover art by Kane, Romita & Crespi) #SpiderMan

A more recent (2019) & very vivid memory: First I went to the wrong store (Times Square instead of Downtown) so stood in line in an alley for hours. But eventually met John Romita Jr & got sigs on ASM #238 & #252. Despite the ordeal getting there, it was a fun experience & JRJr was super nice.
