Attention drivers. If someone ahead of you causes you to become frustrated or irate because they are driving at the speed limit and according to The Highway Code, that is your problem. It is not an invitation to take unnecessary risks and endanger other people.

Exact same junction tonight. Only this time the driver is turning right off the main road inti the side road. Doesn't bother to even indicate. Ignores my priority, forcing me to stop on the pedestrian refuge. Despite being lit up like a festive tree.

Anyone in Stafford (UK) had a rim brake Specialized Allez in a black, red and white colour way stolen? Bike still has spole protector. Also has a saddle bag, SPD cleats and a rear mud flap. If you recognise it, contact Staffordshire Police.

Someone asking for help getting from home to work and vice versa. Their problem is, they don't drive. The two locations are 2.2 miles apart. Posts like this crop up now and again. At the risk of sounding ableist and/or elitist, driving would be a bad choice for a short urban trip like that.

Conventional wisdom is offenders who commit crimes should be caught and penalised. Why are motoring offences any different? Especially given the risks involved. I will never have sympathy for anyone caught speeding.

If you ride a bike, no matter what type, no matter how hard, no matter what you wear, no matter how often ... IMHO you are a cyclist. There in lies a whole spectq. It quite frankly matters not one jot where anyone is on any particular cycling spectrum.
