I, genuinely, consider our current NZ coalition govt to be amongst the most intellectually limited, basic ass, self-serving, bunch of no mates, petty, vindictive losers ever to hold power. Their entire ethos reeks of smug punching down and ego-soothing greed.

If accurate, this is farcical. & inconsistent with the basics of good legislative practice, making it crystal clear the Bill isn't a good faith attempt to improve such. Insincere & undemocratic. & adds to a lack of legitimacy making it v easy for the next govt to justify repealing immediately.

Bought OTD in 1972; hard rock was hard to find but this fitted the bill - great riffs, fast tempos, allusive lyrics, generally menacing aura. The slower Then Came The First Days of May ~ about a dope deal gone disastrously wrong ~ is a masterpiece

For folks in my area of work, this is specifically in the educational context of writing an essay. Most interesting takeaway imo is that using LLM to edit work your brain did itself seems to be less cognitively damaging that trying to tweak an originally LLM generated essay with your own brain.
