Star Trek starships have mostly had a common design philosophy, and most of them maintain that Starfleet look about them, but the first one I saw that I thought was not just a starship design but also a work of art was The Excelsior. Still one of the top ship designs in all of #StarTrek

It's confusing to me that someone decided to change the colours of pool balls so the 4 is pink and the 5 is purple. And the 7 is still brown? Why? There was no reason to do this. Everything was fine. No one was demanding a change. No one needed a change. Why did people do this?

Assume for a moment that Faith healers are real. If so, they would be some of the worst people on the planet. They have a magical ability to heal any sickness or injury and they keep that exclusively for people who share not just their faith but their location of worship, not everyone at a hospital.

If you're a #StarTrek fan, and you've thought about watching Babylon 5, I suggest you do so, and give it a chance at least until Episode 5 'Parliament of Dreams'. You might get a little emotional at the end when they show Humanity's infinite diversity in infinite combinations. Amazing sci-fi series.

We've had home computer printers for about 50 years, so it truly baffles me why no one has ever made one that actually works the way it's supposed to 100% of the time. Or 90%. Even 80% would be acceptable. But in about 40 years of using them, I have yet to own a printer that has worked that well.
