The Age of Reason is over. We are in the Age of Feeling. Every time you express a point of view and you start by saying “I feel that…”, you have fallen under the spell of the Age of Feeling. Try to say “I think that…” instead. Feelings are overstated, contemplative thought understated.

Recommended reading: “Invisible Rulers” by Renée DiResta. One comes away thinking that algorithms that “nudge” or reinforce Confirmation Bias are unethical and immoral.
