Awesome. Now make the primacy of feelings stop. It is making us less fit for survival as a species.

$250 million buys you a presidency when you can’t be elected. All things considered, that is cheap.

Perhaps a man is not the right character witness? “He’s a nice guy off camera” doesn’t seem to be a very insightful perspective on what he does in private one on one with a woman?

Americans voted for an oligarchy because they feel that economic disparities are unfair and some systemic conspiracy. Go figure.

Perhaps the main result from the election is dissatisfaction with a monetary regime that creates huge economic disparities. Throughout the past 200 years, such disparities have only corrected through depression, war and inflation. Buckle up.

Did Americans vote for the end of the dollar standard? I really don’t think Musk understands the credit based economy. The U.S. has to create credit at a multiple of income or the system collapses. $3.60 of new debt for every $1 of GDP. Govt is borrower of last resort.

Algorithms are unethical and immoral. And they encourage the worst of animal spirits so otherwise “normal” people can act as psychopaths with anonymity. Let’s hope Bluesky plays with a straight bat.

Ok. Withdraw from security commitments, raise tariffs, drastically cut the deficit and deport millions of refugees. I think the U.S. voted for the end of the dollar standard. I don’t think that is so good for the owners of stocks.

Could not be better for scientists and biotechs in Europe and China. Try to limit innovation in one country, it simply moves elsewhere. Welcome U.S. based VCs!
