My underglazes have been flaking off in the glaze fire. So I am doing a ton of tests now trying to figure out why. I managed to make it happen across all underglaze manufacturers, so it must be something in the application process. 😥

Before and After: the underglaze came out so streaky. It’s been sitting on a shelf for awhile now. I thought to cover in Mother of Pearl luster, but I’m quite happy with this. The glaze texture was a fun surprise. #ceramicartist #glazedandconfused
