These sort of real life extensions of the game really show off the tavern feel. I feel like the community and commentary adds so much to the experience.
It's not hard to simply mute the audio to see the difference between cards on a page versus an engaging story that people watching feel a part of

I'm also not sure how thematic the game is. Played it at BGG con and we didn't come out knowing much more about Curie's life.
