I don't think there should be a republican party after this. An argument for two party systems has been that it prevents extremists from seizing control of the state. That was proven untrue. And I hope American consider European style parliamentary democracy with multiple parties.

Spain and Italy proposed the Trans-Sahara pipeline in 2010. Both receive gas from Algeria through pipelines. They proposed expanding the pipeline to Nigeria so it can compete with russia in selling gas to Europe. Northern Europe dismissed it as a waste of money. It might be worth reconsidering now.
