Courage IS Contagious Even if you are just posting a flag, message, sign, or bumper sticker. Little actions let people know they are not alone. It gives them strength and security to also speak up. Use your voice to inspire others in any way you can. You never know who will be emboldened by it.

Interesting conversation with the eldest spawn this weekend. He said that one of his friends didn't vote in the last election because he felt demoralized by the direction of the Republicans & didn't think voting Democrat would matter in this deep red sea. I wonder how many felt the exact same way?

Noted a local message board post where someone asked her fellow Christians to reread the teachings of Jesus and see if the actions of the current administration line up. The mental gymnastics of people attacking her are outrageous and telling. We are fucked if the far right xtians get their way.

Just had a discussion about this with a family member who is a Tr*mp supporter and a Veteran. His response was "well, that is not good." I resisted the urge for snark and just said, "nope, not good at all." Got to take the little opportunities to spread the truth when you can.
