I love how casually you can dismiss what they were doing as "MAGA fantasy" If you spend a moment to look for it you can find at least 2 interviews where Hillary Clinton was calling for the censorship of people on social media. To quote her in one interview, "so we can control the narritave".

I think I clarified what I am talking about pretty well, I am talkig about broad generalizations. When you start throwing in very personal things then it could make a difference but not necessairly. Senator Byrd, for example, was a Klan member but later in life he said he regretted that.
