@ryanarey.bsky.social Daredvil ep.1 "Your step is lighter. You've lost some weight...gained muscle". Ep.6 Kingpin splits his jacket. He's losing his loftier ideals and his body reflects it. He's reverting to his old self.

I'm so glad I've been stumbling on to movies like "Elevation" lately. Everything doesn't have be a blockbuster epic. Like the show "the Ark" - something you can enjoy if you have reasonable expectations. #sci-fi

I was having a slight problem enjoying "A Quiet Place Day One"until I visited www.DoesTheDogDie.com - call it a trigger if you want, but I lived with cats long enough to worry about the safety of those aliens. #sci-fi #horror

I avoided "Legion" for years out of fear it was a chaotic mess without a story (which seems to be a popular sub-genre of sci-fi). I just finished season 1 and am excited for more. #sci-fi

I just watched "the Gorge" on Apple TV+ and they continue to put out great sci-fi. Without saying whether it was or not, I haven't wanted a happy ending so badly in a while.

The only downside of finally watching the second season of Silo is that when it's over I'm going to be desperate for more quality scifi, but this level is rare. #sci-fi #silo

Sci-Fi Sunday continues as I start the second season of Silo! #sci-fi #ScifiSunday

I'm finally watching Dune 2. It's a Sunday afternoon movie because when else can I commit three consecutive hours to it. #sci-fi

Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to star in the next ‘Star Wars’ movie.

Today I officially deleted Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. I can feel a yoke off my shoulders and I feel like it's a first step to decreasing time online. Hoping for less but more quality, which I think is fair. Less FOMO.

It was so light out when I stepped outside that I literally checked the time because I was worried I had left work an hour early. Changing length of daylight hours is awesome.

I had the honour and pleasure of introducing a group of people to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster during a discussion of religious holidays at work. I honestly didn't think they could see me as more weird than they already did, but here we are.

The best part of having friends that have been on Bluesky for a while is being able to mine their Followers and Following to find some for myself.
