I'm always awkwardly trying to navigate talking about media in a video essay without having to say 'spoiler warning' all the time and cut off my thesis to give the spoiler warning.

I like doing game video essays but they're a lot of work so I'll post more when I have the bandwidth to do so. I liked writing words about games too, but breaking into reviewing games was not a steady paycheck. I'm not shocked other women make this calculus of finding quiet work elsewhere

Repost if you're low on fuel and sex

Quoting my own post because I learned more yesterday about why Deadly Premonition does this! (Next)

Yayyyyyyy

Chat had me draw MORE vtubers from memory really sorry to everyone included 🙏

No streams this weekend! Join me Tuesday at 8 on YT and Twitch for post con chat... Then on June 26th I kick off Vtuber Summer Slam!

Concurrently terrifying and erotic Goodnight

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

i cant stop laughing at everything about this sorry

Sneak preview: Goals for my charity stream next week! I'm also going to be supporting Team Eldenwood during the stream! #vtuberss2025

Look Outside has been an unexpected success from its humble beginnings as a small game jam project. @frankiepixel.bsky.social has some big plans for it the rest of the year and penned a lovely look at the community’s support and path ahead. 🪟👀 store.steampowered.com/news/app/337...

I told you guys

Party with NarraScope in Philadelphia this year! We've got some evening events planned on June 20 and 21 with local orgs to play games, talk shop, and make friends during the conference. 🧵

Finally, the real modders have come to Stellar Blade.

Love to sort the crap in the rec room and find random based posters I forgot about

You see Hank’s face? No disappointment. Miku confirmed to have a better handshake than George Bush.

I have ten minutes to kill and I found this on Youtube. Now you have to watch it www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHbg...

I've had nightmares like this

Cyberpunk Saturday is back! Thanks for putting up with a couple weeks off! Star Rail is also back on the menu. Therapist is now a collab so it's moved to Tuesday next week... and we're also gonna keep doing LSL games!

as ever, if you ask people if they think art should exist for their enjoyment they will say yes, and then if you ask them if the people making the art should get paid for it they'll tell you "no that's a fake job"

I want to post about weird video games and all this fucking fascism keeps happening

I told you we’d be back

Animation is a medium, not a genre, and, like any medium, there are some concepts that can only be properly portrayed using it. House of Leaves is an unfilmable book, the wizard Ekh in the 1983 short "Wow, a talking fish!" Would never have the same impact without being animated.

No stream tonight as originally posted. Scheduling conflict. Next stream Thursday with UFO50 - chat picks the game!

I genuinely think this particular aesthetic trend (Good Art Is Didactic And Also Assumes You Are Very Stupid) is a non-trivial source of anti-woke backlash, like unironically. It is really really annoying, and I think it has provided wedges by which anti-wokes can radicalise nerds.
