I've been dabbling around with Bristol board and fanart is such mindless fun. I've been loving @ambertheawkward.bsky.social 's playthrough of everhood, and I'm kind of obsessed with Zigg. #ambertheawkward #vtuberfanart #everhood

It's been a good long while but here's an update on the dream painting I've been working on. Not done yet! But very close #surrealism #surrealoilpaint #oilpainting #dreamart #inprogress

@ambertheawkward.bsky.social I have no regrets Media: micron pens and alcohol markers.

I decided to participate in the Big Bot Bash this year. Ended up using some plastic toys I had saved up. My prompts were: body: brick shithouse head: scary arms: noodle hands: knuckles legs: Dash!! flavour: jagged #bigbotbash #scratchbuilding #craft #recycling #art #sculpture

I've been reading a lot of manga lately and felt inspired, so I turned someone important in my life into an stylized character. I don't typically draw this way, let alone use digital to color my lineart. But it was a fun change of pace. #animedrawing #digitalrender #animetransformation

I'm part of a funny bug group and they decided to do an art challenge. A one a month prompt. January is comfy cozy bugs, winter themed. So I made this acrylic painting in 4 hours lol. The title is ...*ahem* "Grub snug on a rug, eating a shrub, with it's #1 bug mug" #acrylicpainting #bugart

@ambertheawkward.bsky.social Ok. Listen. I can explain. I've gotten back into stardew valley and thought it would be fun to name a goat after you. I accidentally tried to milk it instead of a cow and got the most funny-cursed popup ever. I uh.... Oh boy.......I have to make alt text now...

Here's an update on my current oil painting. I'm in the saturated colors and contrast stage. I'm excited to get to the point of details and glazing effects. There's still plenty of work to be done before then though. #surrealism #oilpainting #dreamart #inprogress

I've gotten the underpainting done on a large oil painting. I've been wanting to start painting direct scenes from my vivid dreams for a long time, goodness knows I have a backlog. This one is going to be titled "Tower of Giants". #oilpaint #paintingdreams #dreamart #surrealism #inprogress

As I'm healing up, I created this piece inspired by sickness and the various friends who I have lost to medical complications. It was disturbing to watch happen and just as disturbing to be reminded of it. Stay healthy, everyone, as much as you can.

It's been a rough one recently. Rushed to the ER at 1am and stayed until 4:30am, lots of tests, no answers but sometimes that's good news. This piece is a print using my first copper etching plate I ever made.

This was a re-draw of an old middle school drawing I made as a kid. I thought the creature design was great and deserved a full piece. If I remember right, this was done with ink and watercolor.

I was going through some of my old work and felt this guy deserves being posted during times like this. He belongs here now.

A piece I made with India ink. Just a little guy in his shelter after the rain.

Posting something a little different, this was an acrylic painting I made as a gift for a coworker before his retirement. He LOVED steak.

This is a charcoal piece I made one day a few years ago. It's currently my phone background! Lol

A piece I made during lunch at a previous job. Sometimes doodles turn into full pieces.

lil' goober

This is fun! What's your favorites? Food: Fettuccine Alfredo 🍝(ok we need a white sauce pasta emoji) Season: Spring 🌼 Drink: Peach Tea 🍑 Colour: Gold 🌟 Anime: S-cry-ed 💥 (one piece close second)

have a pocket friend

This was a piece I created one night when I couldn't sleep. I was extra sensitive to noise that night and there were too many repetitive sounds lol. India ink and Graphite #indaink #inkdrawing #nosleepforme

The Sleeper 🌙

This is a piece I created last year with India ink. I believe this was for a drawing prompt: Raven. #indiaink #inkdrawing #traditionalart

This is awesome! If you see this, post your pride flags!

This is also an older piece, I'll probably be uploading some old stuff for awhile. Made with India ink, I wanted to depict a transition stage of a sort of virus demon that takes over someone's body. It was also an attempt for masking symbolism.
