40 years ago today, BBC1's iconic Mirror Globe rotated for the last time. Designed by Sid Sutton, who created the Doctor Who starfield titles, with updated versions from Oliver Elmes, who created the McCoy era Doctor Who titles, it ran from 1969-1985. A graphic design classic.
