This #WomensHistoryMonth we are honoring COWINS members like Jehnie who work every day to continue the legacy of women labor leaders who've advanced workers rights for all! #UnionsForAll

More than a million Coloradans-one in five-are enrolled in Medicaid, and almost half of births here are paid for by the program. Tell Congress, no cuts to Medicaid!

To wrap up #BlackHistoryMonth, David and other members of our local black caucus, AFRAM 1876, held a union social this Saturday! With speakers, games and prizes, it was a lovely time had by all! It’s awesome to see all the great work you do. You Rock David!

Politicians who push for wage cuts on tipped workers: BAD IDEA. Voters—across party lines—overwhelmingly reject these policies. Read the memo and take notes. www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ygtry... #WorkersDeserveBetter

This #BlackHistoryMonth we are honoring Black leaders like COWINS member Ayesha Tyous for continuing the legacy of Black labor activism by fighting every day for equity and dignity for state employees. Thank you, Ayesha!

💜 A sweet Valentine's message from COWINS member Claude Jaillet, a custodian at the Colorado School of Mines. Tell us why you love your union! #ILoveMyUnion #ValentinesDay

This #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor the legacy of Black union leaders like Skip Miller who served as COWINS President for 12 years. Skip's commitment to justice for state workers, unity, resistance, & action shaped the power our union has today. Thank you, Skip!

Calling on all Coloradans to speak up! 72% of 1,091 COWINS members in Colorado's Department of Health Care Policy and Financing are in federally funded positions. Cutting that funding would directly impact the 1.4 million people in our state who rely on Medicaid.

This #BlackHistoryMonth, let’s celebrate Black leaders like Tearra who are continuing the powerful legacy of Black organizing that has transformed our unions, workplaces, and nation for the better. This is especially critical today, as we witness attempts to erase that legacy.

Unions, community organizations, and states united and forced a reprieve, but we're bracing for round two. For now, state employees' jobs are safe, and Coloradans can still rely on critical state services. Tell us how the threat of cuts hurt you: lil.ms/opzm

Trump's cuts won't make groceries or gas prices cheaper. He's just stealing taxpayer dollars from services everyday people rely on to pay for tax cuts for the rich. We will fight back to defend our jobs, the services we provide, and Coloradans who depend on them. Read our statement: lil.ms/opy6

Immigrants are our families, coworkers, friends, & neighbors. We all benefit from their contribution to our communities & economy. Mass deportations will rip apart families & our community. So #KnowYourRights & remember Dr. King’s call to action: bit.ly/CO-IRC #MLKDay2025

In 2024, we worked hard to make state workers’ lives better and to defend the services they provide. Happy New Year to Colorado's state workers and to everyone who depends on the work they do! shorturl.at/xAtKv

We've been working hard so that the state workers who make Colorado run-and their families-can have more cheer over the holidays and peace of mind about the year ahead. See how we've made lives better at www.coloradowins.org/better-life

Having a union has made state workers' lives better at work and at home but CO's outdated labor laws block too many others from fair pay and better working conditions. Help modernize laws & empower workers! Sign our petition: www.coloradoworkers.org #ColoradoWorker #UnionStrong #LaborMovement

Last night CDHS union stewards threw an ugly sweater party! Congrats to COWINS members Cherri Saline (DOR) who won first prize-Nuggets tix-for the UGLIEST sweater, & runners-up Anthony Brown (DHS) & Renee Jutzi (DOC) for snagging some great swag. Happy holidays from your union family!

COWINS members like Dan and Zach are working through the holidays to keep Colorado running and to keep your friends and family safe.
