1. Anyone who knew my dad, knew that he was one of the most genuinely compassionate, patient and giving men this world has seen. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts with my 3 brothers. And he always listened to what someone was saying, and gave the most profoundly appropriate advice.

I don’t understand how some Christians literalize the parts of the Bible like hell and damnation and seven headed dragons, but the actual teachings of Jesus like to love your neighbors, feed the poor, or to serve others, well that is metaphorical.
