We've done the planting of the summer flowers for today, the first warm day of sun in a week. A nice traditional Memorial Day of tinkering around the house, like my father used to. Now it's time for a gin & tonic in a modern #GayFad glass! (See how warm it is!!!?!?)

I had added the #vintagePyrex #Turquoise band coffee cups with lime green band saucers from the same era, but they did not sell. Nobody liked that. Not at all. Then I found the covered #SugarBowl at the thrift store and decided to put it all together with the creamer (and NOT the green saucers!)

I spy a little kitty who was napping. She had been visiting me up in the loft while I was photographing dishes, but that was too boring for her, so she went back to her nap. The weather has been cold, dark, and rainy, not too good for exploring for little kitties! It's just best to nap!

I can't help buying Georgian-styled glasses, even when they are in the most ridiculous condition. Really, do I think I can sell these? I photographed them last night and now looking at them, I don't know what I was thinking! These will be in my yard sale this summer!!! (Or buy them here - $10!!)

Yesterday was the last warm day for at least a week, so I parked myself on the deck for most of the day to do my work. I FINALLY got my #CopperWireRules telephone service back-it'd been out for 12 days! So, with a cocktail in my amber #LibbeyTempo tankard and my donut phone, I got to work!

I am all set to post these two #VintagePyrex casserole listings, but when I looked up the info for Daisy in the #PyrexPassion book, I got confused. The small #471Casserole should be yellow and the larger #473Casserole should be light orange. Just what ARE these colors??? #ChromaticallyChallenged

I use "I might find some Pyrex covers" as an excuse to go thrifting. I have PLENTY of #VintagePyrex to keep me busy, so I really don't need to shop. But I still go, just in case I find a cover. And whaddya know-I DID find the coveted #470C covers! 2- and in perfect condition, though very grody!!
