In America you can barely get the press to even mention the words "climate change." Meanwhile, the 3 main newspapers in China recently featured articles about the energy transition on their frontpages. (Ie, the state affiliated People’s Daily said "green development boosts society’s wellbeing.")

I am not OK with making people feel more helpless and vulnerable just because some climate websites have been scrubbed and words censored. We KNOW exactly what the problem is and we KNOW what to do about it. Trying to hide climate info from people is just pathetic. It doesn't show power at all.

We have known for decades that the planet is steadily warming and that the impacts of climate change would intensify. And we must resist focusing solely on the current chaos of the federal government.

Regrettably, the Clean Water Act no longer means that "water" has to be "clean"

In the Rio Grande Basin, the snowpack's terrible, reservoirs are low, & the water outlook is rotten. And yep, everything's a mess on the federal level. We can't look away from that. But it also means state and local action is more important than ever.
