Knitting: It’s more than just a hobby—it’s a post-apocalyptic survival skill. 🧶

Voted! 🗳️ very seamless here in Ottawa! In n out in 3 minutes!

Let’s face it. Getting rid of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is to make way for less qualified white men to take positions they don’t deserve.

Nearly 40% of Ontarians we surveyed said they’ve delayed or avoided care because they’ve lost confidence in the system. When people don’t trust they’ll get the care they need, they wait—often until it’s an emergency. This is a crisis that can’t be ignored. #onpoli StopTheHealthCrisis.ca

Is after-hours surgery associated with increased rates of mortality & morbidity? This cohort study shows that after-hours surgery was associated with: ⬆️ risk of death within 90 days ⬆️ all-cause mortality after 1-year ⬆️ postoperative complications #AnSky #SurgSky #MedSky https://buff.ly/4aXXmE6

In an election that puts Ontario first, your health shouldn’t be second. Ontarians need access to family doctors, reduced wait times in EDs, and better access to specialist care. Ontario needs action on health care. Read more: ow.ly/QF3Q50UPqWY

Thanks for the tag! I have thoughts.🧵 1) Lots of MDs wish we could be salaried with expenses covered by an employer. This is a more attractive model than ppl realize. 2) Municipalities have been left to sort out their MD shortages for decades now. Health care is provincial... except when it isn't.

This clip makes the case for why Canada needs a strong, sovereign military. American moderates weren’t able to contain MAGA crazy. Now allies will have to. Start now by boycotting any US-made goods, particularly those from red states.

For my fabulous friends! Keep fabulous in 2025!

Explanation post: Those who followed me on X know I posted about medical access - including vaccines - the need for masks and the need for dogs. I never posted about politics. Now I’m getting political. I can hope we all are. There’s so much at stake in Canada. This is the tip a huge iceberg:
