I don't want to seem ungrateful - indeed I appreciate the sentiment behind the shirts, but please don't call me a Doll. I'm probably overreacting but "doll" to me feels wrong and triggers my ick sensors.

Am I the only one who didn't even know the UK had a Supreme Court until it decided to gatekeep the public toilets?

That was weird. I've just had to reprogram my heating system. For some unfathomable reason it thought that it was the 77th of September 2079, and presumably due to global warming it didn't feel the need to warm up the radiators. Maybe there's a massive calendar reform in the next 54 years.

Just watched the #onlyconnect Champion of Champions episode. For the last question of Round 1, it's probably best that you didn't include "Blooming Meadows" as a Fawlty Towers sign synonym as you would have had to refer to "Flowery Twats" (something I still can't believe got approved for broadcast).

Think I might ask the doc about HRT this year. It's about time I start to transition properly. Assuming no legal changes in the UK I should be able to take my first dose sometime in 2033. I'll be 61. Or 62.

I've been running Windows 11 on my PC since I got it in March. Suddenly my processor isn't supported, but I've had no problems for the last 9 months. It's an I7-7700. Don't tell me I have to upgrade again.

That's weird. I've just been given 8p (10 us cents) for having no plans to fly to Canada. No idea why, but thanks, Google Rewards.

That face in the corner of the post is not me. I didn't really want to put my own face online because it isn't how I see myself (and would rather NOT see myself if at all possible). Naturally, I couldn't steal a real person's face so it's my sole foray into AI, and more like I wish I could look.

We certainly are (not including my own appearance).

Portland trans girl Claire just found out her favorite local band is a secret magical girl squad...and she’s a magical girl, too. Now she’s balancing life out of the closet and as the newest member of Magica Riot! Out now in hardcover, paperback, and digital! Links & preview at magicariot.com

That's about 2 quid each. Bargain.
