This is very very true. There's definitely something freeing about being a LGBTQ person who has no expectations put on them of following the normalized blueprint of how a CisHet person should live. And I think certain CisHet people envy us over this sometimes.

Got to say, the most mind-blowing thing of all is seeing people who are ostensibly artists cheer for GenAI “tools” like it’s the “next big thing.” Even setting aside the systems are all built on blatant theft of copyrighted works, are we going to cede artistic expression to unaware machines?
