Trying a rare Laphroaig 10 year bottling from 2016. It's 59.2% cask strength from virgin French oak It tastes how I expect CS Laphroaig to taste. With the peat and smoke I notice strong oak flavor with vanilla with cream soda. Very tasty It's hard to save this for awhile and not enjoy it too quick

Larry takes calming care brand probiotics. I didn't think it would work but it seems to be helping his anxiety quite a bit. It stains his white chin fur brown though, and I can't find anything about that online but I know someone else whose cat has the same problem. Worth it, but darn.

An update to this is that a tow truck has to be called to pull the cop out. He apparently stopped to assess the flooding that was coming over the road, but decided to drive through the small reservoir that was dug specifically for the purpose of holding overflow flood water

This lost or stray cat we call Fuzzbutt has been triggering our motion cameras for weeks. He's very shy and hides when we are outside It has been getting so cold that we got him a heating pad. It's a brutal -5° now, so we're glad to see that he found the pad and is using it

My best Christmas present was from my wife, a frame for the post-it note sloth she drew and put on my desk back when we first met and she was my cute new co-worker who I thought was so interesting. This little guy sits on my desk at every job and now he has a frame to protect him

Port Chalotte's new cask exploration series SYC:01, syrah cask, is pretty nice. Aside from the expected peaty wine-cask scotch flavor, I taste a lot of strawberry with a touch of ginger It's tasty, but if I take a sip of the older PMC:01, pomerol cask, this seems a bit dry and not quite as great
