So for my first attempt at employment I wrote my resume in LaTeX and wrote a bash script to mailmerge that shit with some list I found online. (Late 90s). “Human Resoces”. I mailed out 100 physical envelopes. I only got responses from guys who laughed at me. It looked fantastic though.

Today I finally got my super fake Neumann u87 going. I mean. It says Tascam on it for some reason but the body is just a black copy. I bought it to replace the guts with nerdlore but it sounds kinda good as is. Too bad my vocals are shit.

Does anybody here want to talk about building janky analog (and digital) music synthesizers out of bits and bobs that weren’t necessarily intended for that sort of thing? I’m currently trying to build a VCO with some Russian vacuum tubes for example.
