There is a false dichotomy drawn between "the ivory tower" and "the real world," and I'm here to report that in a post-industrial society, your real-world economy absolutely hinges on the university. University towns are factory towns. Universities drive economic activity, not the other way around.

We’re almost at 30K here! The coalition is growing. The idea of a nationwide strike is growing. The boycotts and protests and calls and union strikes are working. Do not give up, hold strong. We can do this but only if we are all together. 💪

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.
