Yesterday, in two separate instances, my house was the safe house. The first, one of the kids just needed to wash his head. He's torn between his family's traditional views [being pushed on him) and him simply wanting to find his own way. 17 and senior is a difficult time. Post continues below.

When your boss's wife (who is head of HR) is a delusional racist far alt-right conspiracy theorist, blocks you in to your office and starts spouting the SHIT she watches on Youtube (and not any legitimate news channel) -- I don't even have the words... I'm fucking sick to my stomach after that...

The first train since the floods destroyed... well, everything... is crossing the bridge into the gorge this morning. Our favorite Mexican restaurant has finished major reconstruction, and are expecting to reopen in a couple weeks. Signs of progress every day, but so much more to do...

In the beginning... This was the first night I played with what became the $3 Wudbuzzers, which a few weeks after became the Electric Vegetables. We had never met before this night, but 3 solid sets of good music came out, and very soon after I was introduced to a whole Tribe of wonderful people.
