I saw this FB message from one of my fearsome daughters. She was a baby went I left home for politics. I missed every school play, every graduation. Tomorrow I start at 8AM drywalling an upstairs room to support her fantastic tea shop business. So glad to be home and be still welcome.

Damn. Another obit. Mike Peters, frontman of 1980s MTV faves The Alarm, lost his 30-year (!!) battle with cancer. That, friends, says this cancer survivor, is a fucking warrior. The Alarm,were a U2-esque band with a big sound and even bigger hair. I saw them live once. Put on a great show.
