I think I need to re read Eragon and all those books again. But I'm a little afraid I'll ruin it for myself because it was one of my favorite series and I'm afraid it's gonna ruin that reverence I have now that I'm a jaded asshole adult.

I just ate like three hours ago and I'm already almost hungry. I don't know if that's because I'm actually really hungry or if I've just trained my body to know that 11am on a Sunday is food time but either way I am debating on ordering Chinese food.

There's going to be news about a woman illegally detained and being forcely removed from a Coeur d'Alene Idaho Town Hall meeting taking place at the high school by men that would not identify themselves wearing plain clothes because she opposed the republican viewpoints. youtube.com/shorts/hhJdH...

Just wouldn't be a Saturday night without a giant hazardous chemical spill. Pallet of tile set on 20 gallons of fucking pool chlorine and just shipped out that way for us to deal with.

It's pretty cool that Eater put together resources for restaurants about how to handle ICE raids

It's a "J-rock" kinda night

When was the last time you read a 500 page novel in a day and a half? Random book recommendation ended up completely taking over my entire weekend. And I bought the sequels, and I'm so excited for them to get here, and I have nobody to TALK TO about them ugh lmao

I can't remember the last time I had to physically wrench myself away from a book. I bought this book Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, and I just can't put it down. I feel like I rediscovered something I haven't had since middle school. Highly recommend if you're into the whole YA dragon rider thing.

An inch and half of snow plus 20 mph wind all night apparently equals a foot deep on my stairs...

I've played every Assassin's Creed game except Syndicate and I never finished Unity, Mirage, or Odyssey. And I got that itch to bring it around and start at the beginning again. Find out when it started to get shit, and I honestly think that Black Flag was just an anomaly and it got shit after ACR.

When I bought The Ezio Collection I wasn't planning on replaying the entire series up to the point it got shit. But now I'm hooked all over again, and I'm torn between either finally finishing Mirage or playing through 3 and 4 again...

So I learned one thing this morning, my soon to be boss does not have the same sense of humor as me, gonna have to dance to a slightly different tune I guess come March

I just learned that Ostriches are from Africa and for some damn reason I thought they were only native to Australia and for some reason this is like... blowing my mind. Maybe I'm just tired

It's funny how I've come full circle on buying most of my music. At this point I only use Spotify to discover new things to buy.

I used Ctrl+F earlier and every one of my coworkers looked at me like I was a techno-mage. These kids clearly never grew up with GameFAQs.

I've heard good things about this Rebecca Yarro author and I can't wait to read one chapter of this book, really enjoy it, and never get back to it because my attention span is shot and less than that of your average goldfish.

Sometimes, I'm okay by myself. And then other times I'm frustrated that this is the 40th time I've checked my phone in five minutes because I can't concentrate on anything at all. And most of the time I couldn't tell you which it's gonna be haha

Kinda wanna go into one of those sensory deprivation tanks and just listen to Demon Days all the way through. I feel like that would be an absolutely wild experience.

I think if I had decided to learn to play guitar like Woody Guthrie and similar musicians like that when I first started playing, I'd be a better guitar player today. But I focused too much on technique, instead of musicality and to this day I have perfectionist issues instead of just making music.

VOICE ACTORS: If you recieve an audition for a video game character who is being recast/whose actor "stepped away", it is HIGHLY LIKELY that this is because they are holding the line in the ongoing SAG-AFTRA interactive strike. Reach out to the original actor if possible and confirm the situation!

Assassin's Creed Revelations is, imo, the high water point of the series. Yes, Black Flag is one the greatest Pirate games ever created, but it was a real push away from the series' core. Nothing else quite captured the feel of Assassin's Creed quite the same way.

I need to stop ordering books, I have like nine books now I haven't finished, and probably won't anytime soon, and yet I buy more. And they're not even like... fun books lol it's shit like The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, Beowulf, Das Kapital, and The Aeneid like wtf am I doing lol

And with Brotherhood 98.8% conpletion(I seriously can't be bothered to collect all 101 flags, I just can't) it's on to Assassin's Creed Revelations. I remember when it came out being so hyped for it. And replaying it again I forgot just how much of an overall improvement it is in a lot of ways.

It has been 194 days since @sagaftra.org actors started striking video games. In that time, we have signed over 150 games to Interim agreements, proving that our demands are more than reasonable. But the bargaining partners still refuse to give us anything more than lip service. (cont'd)

I wish I knew where my iPod was from high school. I'd love to know the kinda cringe shit I was into. On the one hand it would be kinda neat to know, but on the other hand I know that there's probably more Good Charlotte and Skrillex than I feel comfortable admitting in polite company lmao

Finally get over that imposter syndrome and feel like I'm supposed to be the supervisor and they announce I'm changing to days and the cycle starts all over again

It's an "Alt-Pop/Indie Rock" kinda night.

Don't let the rat fuckers get you down. Don't comply in advance, that's what the fash bastards are counting on. Shut the fuck up. I don't know what other advice to give, but I think those are a pretty solid start.

I remember this game being much bigger for some reason. Maybe it's because I didn't have time to play it for long hours like I've been doing but I feel like I remember Rome being absolutely gigantic.

One of my biggest gripes with modern Assassin's Creed games, specifically Odyssey and Valhalla, is that the combat just feels wrong. Playing Brotherhood now and the combat is so smooth once you get the hang of it, it feels great, whereas in Odyssey it was just a slog, with little to no finesse.

Full Synchronization... fuck I forgot how hard those are sometimes in Brotherhood ugh

Shame they never remastered the OG Assassin's Creed. I remember it less than I do Brotherhood and Revelations but I would still love to play it again.

Playing Assassin's Creed 2 again, and I forgot just how much fun these games used to be before Ubisoft enshittified the series.

Learning that my job is going to effectively disappear in a little over a month makes it shockingly hard to get motivated to do it... still gonna be a supervisor just on the day turn and I genuinely think I might quit. I don't know.

*stunned disbelief* Way to go…students of…Arizona State

while The Horrors persist, let us celebrate less horrors overall…. because all three mega fires in Los Angeles are finally 100% contained!!

Do Not Comply In Advance: bossy, already a cliche, implies permission to comply later Fuck You, Make Me: leads by example, directs yelling at opposition instead of allies, easy to chant at a protest or put on a banner
