I do infrared photography, mostly, but I like to experiment in other areas.

Time After Time. My grandfather‘s confirmation watch. Born 1903, the event is likely to have taken place in 1917, during the Great War, later called World War I. I keep this on my desk, not to forget. Part of my #things project. #watch #time #photography #photographersofbluesky #lightpainting

Lemonade Days. Those were the days. Part of my #things project. #lemonade #lightpainting #photography #stilllife #photographersofbluesky

The Side Gate. An #infraredpicture I took in 2022. Would probably process it differently today, but that was the way I did it then. #photographersofbluesky #infraredphotography #infrared

Sound. An old #violin, still in use, though not regularly. Part of my #things project. #photographersofbluesky #lightpainting

Things is a lightpainting project. No fancy colours, though, it’s just the darkness and a camera and a torch and me. I’m trying to stage the character of things that I believe are worth noticing. #photographersofbluesky #things #lightpainting #coffeegrinder

Eras. #lightbulbs, different generations, all in working condition, all out of use, replaced by energy efficient LED illuminants. In case you didn’t know, the German word for lightbulb is Glühbirne, glow-pears. Part of my #things project.

The Plain. I love #summer. Winter is just not my thing. Taken in 2023 with my full spectrum modified #fujifilmxe1 and #720nm filter.

Prepare. An old #pencilsharpener, made of #bakelite. Made in #easterngermany, back in the #1950s. V. cool. Part of my #things project. Winter business.

Sweden. This — in case you didn’t know — is a Dala horse, a piece of Swedish handicraft. My father’s cousin, who emigrated to #sweden about 75 years ago, brought this with her when she visited my grandparents. It’s been made by Nils Olsson of Husnäs. #horse #handicraft #dalahorse

My grandpa’s old #typewriter, a Wanderer Continental, dating back to the 1940s, I believe. - This is what I’m doing this winter: a #lightpainting project I call #things.

#infraredphotography usually doesn’t work well in #winter, that’s why I hardly take any #infraredphotographs from October to March. Yet, in February 2023 I took this one, and am still quite satisfied with it. I remember it was a #foggy, low light day.
