Gonna gush about my fave #Superman story today. Superman Smashes the Klan, by @geneluenyang.bsky.social! A period piece story about the Man of Steel that pays direct attention to the racial prejudices in 1940s America. Genuine, heartfelt, charming, and altogether perfect. This is Superman.

Gonna keep the Dark Knight train rolling by recommending Dark Night: A True Batman Story, written by @pauldini.bsky.social and illustrated by Eduardo Risso. It's a powerfully emotional story regarding Dini's traumatic real-life experience in 1993 and the long road to recovery. Incredibly worth it.
