I used to teach citizenship classes in my community. The tenant that loomed largest above all was “no one is above the law.” I cannot believe that it is a thing of the past. I am so disappointed and disgusted with what has become of us.

I deleted my Twitter account last year after twelve years. I joined Threads, hoping for the best. While infinitely kinder than Twitter, there was far too much of a lag in reporting major news. I truly hope this is better.
