There was a time when we'd have five different "Cory Booker's Bladder" accounts on Twitter by now

I use women's body wash because the ingredients tend to be better for your skin. After taking lots of extra showers to warm up this winter, I've noticed my butt feels quite smooth as a consequence 😅

Last year or so there was that discussion about "the black character always dies first in horror movies" and how nobody could think of any examples besides Scream 2, does anyone remember that discussion and how it concluded?

Please donate if you can. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Hey @daisyducati.bsky.social trying to reconnect with my twitter mutuals here, could you add me again?

When you're watching a slasher from a series with a distinct named killer like Freddy, Myers, or Chucky does the 'final girl'- type character matter much to you? Was thinking about the Halloween franchise and how excited people get to see Laurie and how much that surprised me.

Meanwhile, still getting over that tooth infection. The drainage stage has been going on about 10 days now. This evil-smelling yellow stuff is just falling out of my nose but it doesn't seem like its from my nose, like its sweating through to my nostril from where the tooth pain was?

Kinda nice logging in here and seeing lots of the missing faces from the Horror twitter glory days around

GODZILLA MINUS ONE could not be more timely: As a monster bears down on a nation, its citizens realize their elected & appointed officials lack the political will to grapple with it. It's on the citizens - retired naval officers & humble fishermen alike - to organize and face down the beast.

Directors Cut (2025) is a throwback to 2000s torture movies, with a heavy metal twist. I liked a good 2/3rds of the movie, but it lost steam in the last 3rd for me. Fizzles out and leaves some loose threads that left me scratching my head. I'm disappointed, tbh. Oh well.

My face of surprise: 😐. It's bad out there folks

From a source: “Just had a co-presenter for a buildings research conference bow out. She’s a dual citizen and the FBI came knocking to ask her about her involvement in coauthoring chunks of the Paris Agreement. Climate science is being literally (and I mean literally) criminalized.”

I'm in a terrible place on untility money and and all but seeing how many other people here are trying to fundraise for the same reasons makes me feel kinda bad about trying to ask too. Altho if anyone wants to see my spare horror blurays, figures and stuff for sale feel free to ask

Damn I loved Hack-o' Lantern (19....uh 88 I think?) youtu.be/2Pk0zXWBcsk?...

We can't bookmark stuff on here, can we?

Every scientist, long before they were a scientist, was a little kid who stood in front of a fish tank or stared up at the stars or turned over a rock to look at the bugs underneath and said “wow”. On the best days, working in science still feels like that.

New episode! Does a hero complex paralyze us? #environmentalpiecast #hero #action #communityaction #sewing #teaching #paradigmshift youtu.be/81yYKNUfumw?...

It’s Brad Dourif’s birthday. He’s got quite the resumé. (That’s actually a toy doll on the far right. He only voiced it)

Wooof I gotta figure out how to follow back all my old friends on here quick

@kalugaofficial.bsky.social just saw the moving announcement, guess you missed my tag on the other place for that appalachia idea 😢

Pretty satisfied with Maxxxine (2024), a lot of the criticisms I'd heard about "too many plotlines" etc were exaggerated imo, sure it's not quite as strong as X and Pearl but it's plenty solid as is.

Fun fact: Jan. 1, 2025 is the exact date of the events in ZARDOZ.

Gotta get back to "movie per day" on Letterboxd since I think that was really helpful for having some daily structure. Follow me as Cryptaxis on Letterboxd boxd.it/2k3an

Could that be Valgavoth @golgariguy.bsky.social ? Who's into mtg lore around here?

Growing up in the 90's you keep hearing "Jingle All The Way (1993) sucks!" but watching it anytime after 2005 its like "wait this rocks??"
