Oh wow ios lets you turn your icons transparent now? Pretty cool I guess but all my app icons are in the shape of the abzorbaloff from Doctor Who Series 2, Episode 10, Love and Monsters.

When I was 17 my friend at the time got together (eventually married) with a 28 year old. They're talking about rules for social media apps protecting children in the UK. And honestly, I just don't understand why kids don't have their own apps soerate from adults? Like, when I was a kid, so many sites were run specifically for kids excluding adults. That part of the internet has died...

Personally I don't want bluesky to get big, get big enough and you turn into X. I don't want another X, I want a usable social media with mostly interesting people. Too much 'engagement' kills actual conversations
